We’re thrilled and excited to announce that the Weston Cross Inn will be opening its doors again from Noon on Saturday July 4th. We will, as ever, be serving quality ale, beers and ciders, fine wines and spirits especially our comprehensive range of gin.
Due to the new restrictions we are only able to operate with a reduced staffing team, so we will be offering our usual tasty pub food albeit from a smaller menu for the time being, all of which can be enjoyed in our beer garden or in the bar. At this moment in time we are not opening up our restaurant. We are kindly asking guests to preorder their food to reduce stress within the kitchen team and to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
As we enter what’s being described as “the new normal” please note that certain restrictions have been placed on us as operators, and we in turn will appreciate guests’ compliance with these measures. These consist of a reduced capacity in both the pub and our outdoor areas due to social-distancing requirements, along with pre booked tables with table service for all food and drink orders along with payments.
We are also required to take note of names and contact details for every guest at the Weston Cross this is in order to assist with the government’s track and trace policy. This information will be held for 21 days and only be used should we be required to disclose it to the government.
In order to comply with the above measures, we are asking – at least for the time being – for you to book your table and time with us prior to arrival at the pub, either by message, email or telephone. This will allow us to ensure everyone has somewhere comfortable and safe to enjoy their time at the Weston Cross and allow us to control the amount of customers on the premises.
We will also be operating limited opening hours, which will be:
Wednesday to Friday - Noon to 2pm
Saturday - noon to 10pm,
Sunday Noon to 4pm
Food will be served from Noon to 2pm Wednesday to Saturday and from 5pm to 8:30pm again Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday noon to 2pm. For the time being we will be closing on a Monday and Tuesday. These hours will be reviewed weekly and altered with customer needs.
Following our successful takeaway service we will be continuing to provide this. We have been truly amazed at the support you have given us during these times. It really has been humbling. The menu will continue to be updated weekly on both our Website and Facebook page and you can telephone your order through as usual.
Please be patient with us as we adapt to our new operational norms, as much of this is as new to us as it is to you!
We look forward to seeing you all again at the Weston Cross, we are especially excited with the prospect of enjoying some different company for a change!
